Happy Birthday to Me...

So I am officially the big 26! It seems like a blah in-between birthday! I share my birthday with my grandpa and I told him this was a blah birthday and he said, "at least you're not 71, thats really blah!" I guess he has a good point! :) We didn't do anything special but it was nice just to take Macee to the park and let her play. We went out to dinner while we were up north with my family. It was a lot of fun. Roger told me he was going to cook me dinner so I requested ribs and twice baked potatoes! It was delicious. He is a good cook when he wants to be! I got a new camera for my gift and I love it! I am also going clothes shopping with my money that I got for our Cali trip! My parents came down and spent lunch with me and my dad made me some awesome shadow boxes! I had a great b-day! Thanks everyone!

So it was finally a nice day yesterday, so we took Macee to the park to play and to try out my new b-day present. I think they turned out pretty good for an amateur, keep in mind I am no professional... yet! Tell me whatcha think!

SuRgErY...

I'm typing this from the surgical center where we are all PATIENTLY (or not) waiting to see if Macee can go home tonight or if they will make us stay. She did awesome and is back to herself already. The doctor said her tonsils and adenoids were really big and that her tubes were almost falling out so it was a good thing we did it all in one stop! We are all getting antsy and stir crazy and are ready to get home to grandma and grandpas. Thanks to everyone for thinking of us! She did great! Now lets hope she doesn't have to anything else done for a long time!

My Sweet P

Preslee is our 1 year old stinker! She is the baby and definitely uses it to her advantage! She is talking up a storm and loves to make sure we all know she's around. She always says Please and Thank You and says new things everyday! She is ATTATCHED to her Binky and is lost without it! She loves to do anything "Sissy" is doing and is constantly asking where she is while she's at school! She loves babies and playing outside on her bike! We sure do love this little spit-fire! We're so glad she's ours!

"Awe {are} you kiddin me?!?!" "You're weally iwitating {irritating} me!" {DRAMA QUEEN} "Mom, I'm getting you a Barbie for your birthday! What kind do you want?" She always says that Roger will be 6 on his birthday and I will be 8! {I wish!} Jan. '10 As she is hitting her leg while she is going to the bathroom, "Come on poop, come out!" "Mommy, this leg has pee in it and this leg has poop in it!" "I didn't do it, I didn't do it, I didn't do it!" -Polar Express Ever since she has figured out that there is a baby in my belly she's been saying some killer things. Here's a few: "Mommy you going to pee in that cup?" Roger and I died when she said that! "I have a mommy horse and a daddy horse and a baby horse in my tummy!" "Mom my animals are kicking me!" "Mommy I have a big horse and a big cow and a rooster and a sheep and a pig in my tummy!" She came up to me and gave me a goodnight kiss and had to make sure and kiss my belly and tell Preslee goodnight. SO CUTE! "Mommy I think her (Preslee) needs some chocolate milk. I really fink (think) her likes it and needs some!" Someone asked her if she was going to have a baby sister and she said, "yep in January!" "Mommy her pee and poop in her pants?" Me: "no she will wear a diaper." "Oh she's a baby and I a big girl and big girls go pee and poop in the potty huh mom! Only babies go in a diaper." -June '09 We were looking at pictures of when Macee was born and I made the comment that Roger was a "Big Boy" meaning that he was a little hefty at the time. The next thing we know Macee is showing us the picture and while laughing telling us that "Daddy was a BIG BOY"!!! -January '09- We were at Grandma and Grandpa Petersons and Macee was being a little stinker as always! The conversation goes: Grandma- "Macee where did you come from?" Macee- "The store!" Grandmas house must bring out the funny things because we were there again and Macee had her dog costume on (which she has been obsessed with lately and has to have it on all the time!) and she was in the bathroom helping Grandma get ready and Macee had the little hand mirror and had gotten fingerprints all over it. Grandma- "Whose fingerprints are all over the mirror?" Macee- "The puppys!"
