FriEndS...

I had to make a post about this so that Macee can remember who her friends are/were when she gets bigger. My good friend asked me to watch her kids a couple weeks ago while she went to a class and Macee is always asking me to play with "the kids" so I told her to bring them over. She loves to play but is still learning how to share HER toys. They actually got along really good that day and they were all playing in her room. It got really quiet and that can bever be a good thing so I went in to see what they were doing and {this} is what I found! They all thought they were SOOO funny and couldn't help but smile and giggle while I was trying to get a picture of them! Thanks for coming to play "S. GANG"!

Here's the "Sleeping Beauties"!

And I can't leave out my little friend "J"! He's so funny!

Macee had a little lamb... or not!

So we thought it would be fun to take Macee to see Grandpa Watsons little lambs and it was finally not raining so we went. Well little did we know that she is not so fond of the fuzzy little things unless she's a good 25 feet away from them! She didn't want them anywhere near her. Roger decided to see if he still had his mad lamb catching skills {see pictures} and tried to show them to Macee and she had an absolute meltdown! It was hilarious to say the least! As you can see there are no pictures with Macee and the lambs so maybe next year she might get a little closer... maybe!

He's closing in on them...

Almost got em'...

The end result! Look how proud!

My good friend Harmonie is starting a photography business and she took our pictures for us a couple weeks ago. She has such a good eye for it and is very creative with her shoots and how she edits her pictures! Go check out her website Oopsy Daisy Photography. Thanks again friend, I love them!

PoTtY UpDaTe...

So a little update on our potty training... Macee was completely trained as far as the pee goes after the three days! YAY!!! She pretty much tells us when she needs to go and she wakes up dry every morning! The poop has been a different story though! She is afraid to go in the toilet so she goes in her underwear! UGH! I am so happy with the progress she has made and I am so happy that it only took three days, so now hopefully we can get #2 down and we will be set! Happy Pottying!

PoTtY TrAiNiNg...

So I'm writing this so that I can hold myself accountable to everyone that reads this and for my own personal satisfaction when it actually happens I can look back at this and say that I actually did it.
Macee has really had NO interest in going potty on the "big girl pobby" as she calls it. We have tried for the last 6-9 months to get her interested in it and trying to catch her going so that we can take her to the potty, offering bribes, letting her watch me go so she can see what she is supposed to do, (which by the way, she always claps and tells me Dood Job Mommy! and gets so excited for me) She has only gone pee on the potty twice and she still doesn't want anything to do with it.
My sister-in-law found a website for a book that guarantees to have your child potty trained in 3 days and she gives one on one advice along with the purchase of her book and answers any questions that you might have along the way, even if its a year down the road. I decided to sucker into it and bought it and really like what I read and how she approaches the whole process. Its mostly common sense stuff but she gives you step by step instructions and she helps support you through the process.
We will be starting this tomorrow if I can get Roger to read the book today so he can help me but I am very excited and hope that this time it clicks with her and she can be a big girl now! Wish me Luck and lots of Patience! I will update later on our potty progress!
Believe in Happily Ever After and it will come true!
